Our Story

 The Inn Between began in January 2022 with a simple hope: to find a few like-minded adventurers to share a game of Dungeons & Dragons. What started with a single advert on Meetup quickly found momentum, twelve people applied, and I became the Dungeon Master for two groups of six.

What began as a couple of weekly games steadily grew into a thriving community. We hosted board game nights, one-shots, and social events, and as friendships formed around the table, The Inn Between evolved into something more than just a hobby.

Once we had around five regular campaign groups, we made the decision to begin charging for games. Although some players moved on, those that stayed recognised that the depth, creativity, and care put into every session made the experience well worth supporting.

Now, three years on, The Inn Between has grown from a few players in my living room to a full-time D&D business based in a professional studio in Southwark. We host six interconnected campaign groups and a range of one-shots, all set within a shared sandbox world rooted in the classic Dungeons & Dragons setting of Faerûn.

At the heart of it all is The Inn Between itself, not just our name, but a place within the game. A strange and timeless tavern tucked between worlds, where adventurers return between quests to rest, reflect, and prepare for what comes next.
